Monson Property Purchase and Sale Agreement Approve a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a purchase and sale agreement between the City of Sunnyside and F&M Investments LLC for the sale of approximately 77 acres of city owned property located at 2920 Outlook Road also known as the “Monson Property”.
Conversion of Intersections at 5th & Edison and 9th & Edison to Four-Way Stops
Approve a resolution authorizing the conversion of the intersection at S. 5th Street and E. Edison Avenue and S. 9th Street and E. Edison Avenue from two-way stops to four-way stops.
National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week Proclamation
Approve a resolution proclaiming the week of May 18th to May 24th, 2025 as National EMS Week in Sunnyside, Washington.
Local Government Investment Pool (LGIP) Authorization
Approve a resolution authorizing the Administrative Services Director Kelly Koskie access to the LGIP.
EXECUTIVE SESSION – 45 MINUTES
RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140(4), discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting open to the public; and (i) to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency.
